Up we go like a teak tree

Yup,that is a teak tree.It is growing,skyward.It has leaves and it sheds them and then new ones take the place of those which were given to the ground.It grows,day by day,year by year,hour by hour,decade by decade,second by second.We too grow,continuously.

Growth and creation.

When we cut the tree,we will use it for variously purposes.But its value shall always be high.Its today’s value will be more than what it was yesterday.

We need to grow too.Our thoughts are our leaves.With them we understand the world and we can get our food.Unless,we think,we cannot live.And with our mind,we need to create,a better world and not destory.Where a tree is cut,we need to plant another,where a building is brought down,we need to erect a better one.Where a system fails,we need to put another in place,better than the previous one.

But what if all the trees are said to be evil and all of them are cut and thrown away?That is what is happening.We are first plucking the leaves,one by one,why?Three alphabets -GOD.

Is it needed? No way.God is associated with creation and not destruction.Yet why is that force causing so much of destruction?The conclusion which we can arrive at,is that God,is misinterpreted.Who taught those people to cut?

IF the tree is bad,then the problem was with the seed,so let us try and make the bad at least better,for cutting them now would be of no use,they would just waste our space and might be even pollute the soil.So let us give them something,a little bit of goodness ,so that at least when they rot,they give out something good.

Let us remember,if there are no trees,the clouds might just go away.

    If only you could see how many trees are being cut in Delhi- The green delhi – to make roads, flyovers, metro, BRT corridor. It is October and it is still warm in Delhi. Winter is nowhere near. Sad

    nice vishesh
    You mind is really full of good thoughts…keep it up

  • handmaiden says:

    Well, first we have to establish a universal concept of God.

    That’s never going to happen any time soon! In the mean time Christians, Jews & Muslims will kill them selves & the rest of us over their particular dogmatic view of GOD. Well, their GOD needs to go away, IMO. He’s mean & vindictive.

    Why bother with God, anyway? Human beings have to save themselves by learning how to love humanity for it’s own sake.

    & it ain’t going to happen with the God of the Jews/Christians/Muslims.

  • Dinesh Babu says:

    @sahefa: πŸ˜›

    @handmaiden: ” Well, first we have to establish a universal concept of God. ”

    Well for that,we need to think,are people ready to think?

    ” That’s never going to happen any time soon! In the mean time Christians, Jews & Muslims will kill them selves & the rest of us over their particular dogmatic view of GOD. Well, their GOD needs to go away, IMO. He’s mean & vindictive. ”

    Well he might be mean but she is not πŸ˜‰ Well naturally,the devil is too kind,then?

    ” Why bother with God, anyway? Human beings have to save themselves by learning how to love humanity for it’s own sake. ”

    Well it is bad water…

    @aneesh: i don’t agree.The big tree can fuel many more trees with its seeds,the smaller trees might anyway die,because they won’t have the protection of the big tree….Besides the big tree would be better,as it can with stand more storms….the smaller trees need to move somewhere else….

    @manasa: πŸ˜€

  • Aneesh says:

    Oh, is it just trees? I thought it had some relation with human beings and you are using tree as a substitute πŸ™‚

  • handmaiden says:

    I’m glad you included Hindus.

    You said, ” Well naturally,the devil is too kind,then? ??? From my POV, I reject a God…therefore, I reject a devil, also

    Love is not acceptance
    I say love, you say acceptance…interesting. Actually, I’d have to say yours is the most realistic view.

  • Creation and destruction are all a part of God. In many religions. I got this following quote which makes the point clear:

    ” If you kill one person, you are a murderer
    If you kill thousands, you are a conquror
    If you kill millions, you are God”

    Of course, it is a satirical quote referring to other things as well.
