Sometimes Witty, Sometimes Vetti

Life is moving so fast that I can walk faster than a car. A car stuck in a traffic jam in T Nagar. But every speeding human, has a ticket to somewhere and mine it seems is to Kerala. Finally a place where my name will be home! The chutzpah of it all. This will be the first time in my life, I will be away from home for 10 days. I am terribly excited and fired up to count the assets before I see them.

Fortunately this time, it is a job which is less tiring. I shall admire the sea,the  nari(wolf? or naari=women?) and the scenery and of course curse the coconut trees that block my view every now and then. That is gross stereotyping of course, but well, I am typing this right now.

I have in a way run out ideas for blog posts. Once upon a time, that would have been a whole post by itself, but that was once upon a time. This week has been pretty busy. Went to one of those big corporates with lots and lots of cubicles and people who kept saying “I don’t have access”. Well at least they all can excel. Word. Power to point out a bad font.

I want to write more stories. So planning to post a story a week. The first two were inspired by Chennai. Do read them, if you haven’t already. And if you have, hope you liked them.

Now that my vetti-time is over and I have run of anything witty. Tata!

The great LOL challenge – update

Well since , we haven’t recieved many entries till now , I guess it is time to let old posts be counted as well 😉 That means you can nominate your/others  older posts for the challenge 😀 So time to think about those old jokes again 😉   . 

 

And with regards to rule no.1 and 2 , i.e.

1) The jokes should be clean , i.e. No dirty jokes ,no Adult jokes .

2) Try to make share/make jokes which won’t hurt anyone . Use your sense and judgement .

Just do your post and if we feel it ain’t that bad,we will allow it (just write it anyway , you are going to make people laugh!) .

visheshunni.com and poems

I purchased visheshunni.com . I have decided to use this with blogger(as wp charges you for domain mapping , unless you got the domain with them) .

The site will be used only for my poems . There isn’t an option to import from wordpress ,at blogger . So I have decided to post a few of my older poems everyday , till all of them get posted .

Today I have posted about 8 poems( short ones , yes I can write short ones and I used to do so too) . This will give my new readers a chance to read my older poems and know the “evolution” my writing has undergone .

The reason for this move is simple – I want to use this blog for things like and don’t want my poetry to get mixed up . Also the number of people who read my poems are less , so I think it makes sense to have it separately . Awards and 20008!

as i am writing this,my blog is moving towards 20,008!(maybe even crossed as you are reading,see the sidebar 🙂 ) So another 10,000 have gone by.

Bomb ?where?When?who?

Ya,so had my first experience in respect to bombs and anti-socialism today 🙂 We had a bomb scare at school and all of us were made to evacuate 🙂 Even though everyone knew it was a hoax,they had to bring us out and well no one really seemed to be staring at death.Poor guy,death is,if he ever wants to come near my school,he should get hear plugs and maybe even anti-mocking eyes and well maybe even become invisible,such hooligans we all are 🙂 When the police arrived to do their routine,everyone welcomed them with clapping 🙂 They did a quick check on things and then sent the students class by class along with their class teachers and a couple of seniors(ME!ME! 😉 i went bomb hunting,yupiee!!).We basically had a lot of fun,but had to miss our P.T. class(ya,but got a compensation promise 😉 ) The scary thing was of course the sniffer dog.I think most of you know that i am scared of dogs and OMG! i  was shaken badly to see a dog go around loose .It went sniffing about everywhere and thankfully didn’t come near my class.If it had ,they would have had a major emergency! 🙂

The whole experience was damn good 😉 No one panicked and everyone knew what was happening 🙂 So had my first brush with the ‘bomb’. 😉 The police did their job efficiently too 🙂 They got to the school ASAP and did the whole thing without any noise ,might be they are used to this…

A Nose in a Rose

She ordered a rose and it was a beauty
She powdered her nose and used it profusely.
She ordered her servant to bring it to sniff –
“I won’t” said the maid, and said it quite snooty.
Her mistress just then had a tickle and wheeze
And out of her nose there came a great sneeze:
The orderly napkins and trimmings for tea
Arrayed on her table to stunning degree
They shuddered and shook and then flew in the air –

“That sure was a beauty,” the maid did declare.

3)Jane’s:-

He was a young lad who held his head high, like he had two huge, white horns- hIS ego never gave him a chance to KISS..

She was a full-bloom lady with bright pink cheeks- the pink cheeked MISS.

Marriages are made in heaven, and the two of them got into an ARRANGED alliance of BLISS.

The two of them loved each other and their love took physical shape in the form of 10 KIDS.
5′TH pic: (the chair with stars and holes in the back support)
They soon became one with the stars and gaping holes in the sky. The world without them became an empty chair and a sad ABYSS.
6′TH pic: (the skies, dusk, shadows and electricity lines)
But even today, when you look into the starless sky, their love plays a beautiful shadow on the dusky, monotone background. Then, you feel their love, and an electric chill gives your spine a nostalgic, whacky KISS..

4)Siddharath’s:

If not for storm there is no peace

dark sky,
rainy day,
perfect life,
and happiness.
Yet caught in,
the blood flows,
the mind speculates,
and control you try to.
you wish for freedom
and to be free,
yet you are arrested
by some unknown will,
the origin too unknown.
You wish to shout
or run away,
yet unseen chains bind,
your eyes cry for help,
your faces tightens,
yet the sky makes you happy.
Rain-you feel your own
tears metamorphose ,
and a eternal joy,
floods;beauty is sown,

you walk on as if everything

hi all! At last back from Kodai! Will get to normal posting tomorrow,lots of stuff to do,unloading,unpacking ,getting back to all your blogs(i missed them all),YU,this,that,getting on track for skl…OMG! but i can’t keep my self from writing,my fingers and inspiration want to run,but my fingers even with all the rest seem to be complaining 🙂
