This is going to be a super short post,just a question,
Is terrorism the shadow of our society?

Terrorism does not reflect the whole society, hence cannot be a shadow. It can atmost be a crack in the mirror… the crack could have been created by us.

I would say yes, terrorism shadows certain societies that are not democratic or human enough.

U cant blame the whole society for the acts of .001 percent (may be less than that ) of the people ..

Not completely, it may hide in society get to visible in the rotation.
Terrorists always have to make a decision that the people they are terrorizing are their enemies.
Justifying terrorism is not that different then justifying war & prejudice, societies do that every day.

Nicely done Vishesh. I would think that Terrorism is the dark side of humanity, or rather violence is.

Nice post. Terrorism is an evil act. Society cannot be wholly labeled as such. Only the ones that choose this ugly and evil path should be punished.
I wont say shadow. Instead a product of society.
Very interesting question. Well terrorists form a very small fraction of our society. I would say the shadow of our society is resilience, hard work and honesty. Most Indians especially from rural India are just that.
