wow.. lovely pic!!! reminds me of the sculptures we see on all the pillars in forts, and temples….

yep, they do speak volumes more than words could ever!! and are far more mesmerizing…. 🙂

Very nice pic. Pillar carving always interested me whenever i visited Meenakshi Amman temple in Madurai.

I love the way they have delicately carved the stone to make it look like a silver ornament. I wonder how many months of painstaking effort it took!
